About

I am a proud Dominican, born and raised in New York City. Menswear has always been a part of my life. I have 13 years of retail experience, and during this time, I realized my passion for menswear. I am inspired by the aesthetics of outfits and the way men used to dress back in the '50s and '60s, especially out in the Dominican Republic, where men then wore guayaberas and trousers with cuffs.

At the age of 24, I expanded my understanding of the world and explored different parts of the world. Those adventures expanded my mind and made me appreciate not only travel but fashion from different cultures.

At 30 years old, I had a career change. I left high-end luxury to fulfill my childhood dream career. I went from working at high-end fashion houses to work for the MTA. I kicked off my dream career as a train conductor and then promoted to my current role as a Tower Operator.

During this time, I realized how much I missed the fashion world, and that drove me to create Daringly Dapper—archiving men's lifestyle. I hope to inspire men (and women), especially from urban communities, by style, travel, and lifestyle. I will share fashion tips and the places I have been fortunate to visit a little bit of everything.
